Challenge:
Prove or disprove the involvement of Aliens in the events described in Chaha : Shattered.
Zaley is really bugged by this! She's seen all of this going on, lived it but still can't tell for sure. So she needs your help big time. Neither her nor her friends can solve this mystery that's most pressing. It's answer determines how the city will really deal with their enemies. Winging it just isn't a good strategy and what you'd do to deal with Aliens is very different than what you'd use for humans trying to trick you into believing ET has a bone to pick. Everyone of course says different stuff and the enemy lies. A lot. About everything. People swear they see things while others deny it vehemently. Even Zaley herself mutters something about things she could have sworn she saw that turned out duds. It's very clear that they're 'faking' an alien invasion, but is it really a trick and a deception or is it actually the real deal.
The jury is out and solving this one mystery may seem easy but it's not.
Feel free to use everything at your disposal. Just remember, you must show sufficient proof. This proof must convince not me but your peers, the fellow fans. She's gotta be able to have something concrete for the skeptics of the other side so the issue can be laid to rest. Could you fare better than Zaley and her friends? You all got 'till book two or three to figure it out. So you have time. If you succeed I might just throw a little prize at you, something awesome! We can take the time this Challenge runs to figure out what prize any winner(s) should get for completing this. Who knows, maybe one of you will save the city!
Just be warned. Once you go down that rabbit hole you might never be the same again.....

Yeah those here who end up dipping a toe into this challenge will figure that out soon enough. Maybe you can help guide them... at least to the fence! I'm trying to balance this. Giving basic information about the setting, supplementary mini sequences written as posts and some writing samples to help everyone get started on this yet still leave plenty left for when the book comes out.....
