Well the cat is officially out of the bag in regards to first contact with Aliens.

So lets examine the potential impact of current politics with what little we already know. A trump / GOP administration and the current political landscape is already a problem for us and the world. However, now given the iimortals being involved things just complicated a whole lot more. I'm wondering just how much and in what ways does what's happening here in America now affect the Arrival that's due to happen in a few years....
